Cristoph,

I would assume it is because most customers want to use the S3 Interface rather than the Swift one?

Subject: [gpfsug-discuss] storage-scale-object

Hi folks,

https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/storage-scale/5.1.9?topic=upgrading-object-packages
says:

> CES Swift Object protocol feature is not supported from IBM Storage Scale 5.1.9 onwards.
> IBM Storage Scale 5.1.8 is the last release that has CES Swift Object protocol.

> Please contact IBM for further details and migration planning.

Has anybody some insights what the future of object is and how we can migrate our installation to a supported form for our object customers?

Regards
Christoph
