There is a notifications service. I think you have to subscribe to them via fix central or passport advantage (I don't remember which).

Though this notification was on the list a while before the official Comms.

We didn’t hear about this apart from via this list and from a colleague. What is the way to get on an official notifications list for this sort of thing? I don’t see anything anywhere in the IBM support pages.
