That is doggy ancient ticket, and fixed.
# store DOS attributes in extended attributes (vfs_gpfs then stores them
in the file system)
ea support = yes
store dos attributes = yes
map readonly = no
map archive = no
map system = no
map hidden = no
Will most likely fix it for you. It is down to Office 2007 onwards
trying to preserve ACL's on a save. So you should find a save as works,
no ACL's to preserve but saving an existing file does not.
