<p><font size="-1"><font face="Tahoma">This is an RPM dependency
check, rather than checking anything about the system state
(such as the contents of /etc/redhat-release). In the past,
I've built a dummy rpm with no contents to work around these.
I don't think you can do a "--force" on a yum install - so you
can't "yum install gpfs.tct.server" unless you do something
like that.</font></font></p>
<p><font size="-1"><font face="Tahoma">Would be great to get it
removed from the rpm dependencies if possible.<br>

to test out TCT on a centos based 4.2.2.0 cluster and
getting the following error when I’m trying to install

redhat-release-server >= 6.0 is needed by

isn’t “officially” supported but this is kind of lame to
check for the redhat-release package instead of whatever
library (ssl) or some such that is installed instead.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
