<div class="">Question - why are you SAMBA mounting to Linux clients instead of CNFS mounting? We don’t use CES (yet) here, but our “rules” are:</div>

<div class="">1) if you’re a Linux client, you CNFS mount.</div>
<div class="">2) if you’re a Windows client, you SAMBA mount.</div>
<div class="">3) if you’re a Mac client, you can do either.</div>

The machine is connected via ethernet cable and we've also had one user add the export as part of the /etc/fstab file, but the issues of speed still persist whether you use the mount command or use the fstab file.</div>
