<font size="2" face="sans-serif">If they're both using the same set of virtual IP's, then a failure of one service will cause the associated virtual IP to failover elsewhere which can be disruptive for users of the other service running at that VIP.</font><br>

<font size="2" face="sans-serif">Ideally they would use just one file sharing protocol, so maybe you can heck if that is possible.</font><br>
